If you look at entitlement programs which began with FDR the liberals put us in this position. GW has too much of his dad in him in that he panders to what the liberals want. Reagan wouldn't do that as played the bully pulpit unlike GW who wants to try to work with everyone like he did in Texas. The problem is Washington is much different and I think he is finding that out. Its a damned if do-don't situation so whatever he does he will draw critisism.
He had to clear the air today on his military service since the liberals are trying to find anything they can to attack him. How many years did Willy serve again as I forgot.

I don't like this any more than you do but look at the big picture as to when all of this started and who put us in this mess.
