I've held it for a long time, figuring it as another CP-type stock to hold and wait for the economy to move and all will be right. Apart from the healthy dividend, Noranda hasn't done what I had expected over time. Given where we are supposed to be in the business cycle, my thought was to retain into '98, collecting the dividend and anticipating a greater capital gain. I'll probably still do that but somehow feel Noranda could have been more. Maybe it still will be!
