Kerry has a plan to create jobs and I think it might work. He is going to eliminate any tax provisions that make it attractive to use offshore workers and force disclosure of offshore workforces, including call centers identifying their location and other types of disclosure.

If some of these companies had to disclose where their workforces are the tax benes that the states are doling out would go away, I can assure you.

Barney Frank was on CNN last night and he was right on when he said that 20 years of anti labor legislation has come to a head now, and the benefits of last 20 years of innovation in the US is now being concentrated to too few- basically CEOs and passive income people. He thinks the process will begin to revert back starting now. He thinks Cafta will not go through and all free trade agreements will be stalled from now on.

Of course you realize that had CEOs kept their heads, and not dumped *every professional position they could* onto emerging markets, such that we are now feeling it in the overall US economy, it would have been better for them. Now, we are going to get a whole bunch of pro US worker legislation and tax increases for business. And even I support this, because all these "on the fence" people don't like to see the ripoff of the country happening now.
