What is distressing to me.. No VERY distressing to me is the fact that MANY anti-Bush people, both dems repubs and independents, are only anti because of jobs. To me that is VERY wrong. Instead of the greatest sin:
To be led, bamboozled into a IMMORAL war.. WAR, the ultimate commitment, a society can make.. Where life and death hang in balance and tragedy for ALL is just around the corner. Surviving is number one..
NOT JOBS, for under worked, over-paid, sassy, techies making six figure salaries, and worrying about if their job will be out-sourced so they can't make the NEXT payment on their latest Boxter or whatever.
I'm sorry.. But goddamn it, I could care less if they make that damn payment or not (if they couldn't afford to pay cash, the hell with them anyway) WHEN an average Iraqi is NOW worrying about their NEXT cup of rice and quart of clean water because all hell has broken out when their homes and families are blown apart.
It is my opinion, the above "job-concerned" people have their moral compass jammed up their ass so far it affects their CONCIENCE.. Why because, WAR is the ULTIMATE TEST of a societies morality.. Especially the more powerful invading side. And until that is corrected:
No equilibrium of any kind, such as domestic tranquility, the economy, jobs etc, can be reached on the home front BECAUSE of the stress and division it causes.. WE HAVE TO WORK TOGETHER to be able TO WORK..
IT IS JUST THE WAY IT IS.. And the people that don't UNDERSTAND THIS have a long way to go..
