No, terrorism is a big problem, John. And I hate to think what would have happened in this country and abroad following 9/11 if we had a lessor person in office.

And people kill people, not guns. People have been killing people long before guns were invented.

My point is that we kill a hell of a lot more people in this country every year than we do abroad. And I'm very skeptical as to what percentage of the figures presented for the two countries can be actually attributed to American actions. At least for one country there were no prior figures made available every year. We do know for a fact that the president had no reservations about killing 10,000 to 100,000 of his own when he wanted to make a point.

We have a lot of bad people in this country too and we have a lot better information on the circumstances of the numerous murders that take place. Maybe the editor's efforts would be better spent trying to solve a problem in this country where abundant accurate information is already available. Instead of throwing rocks at an administration about some military action that she has little or no accurate information on.

And the 3000 US lives that she so easily discounts in this country is troubling. Might be a little different if some of her family were included in that number. Her outlook might be a little different if she had to live as a female in the two countries that she is so worried about too.
