I still can't get over this one. The Bush Administration wants all of America to think Al Qaeda is in Iraq, that the US has intercepted a plea from inside of Iraq for more Al Qaeda help.

Now Ernie Pyle was a great journalist in World War II. But do you think Ernie Pyle, were he traveling with a military unit that intercepted an enemy courrier who was carrying a message that called for more enemy reinforcements, would publicize that more reinforcements were needed? I mean wouldn't such a publication, in effect, end up helping the enemy by helping to deliver the message for the enemy? You bet!

I think what we're seeing is yet another example of Administration lies, distortions, omissions and perversions of truth, this time in a bid to convince Americans that Al Qaeda has something to do with Iraq.

I think the above referenced intercepted document has about as much credibility as the documents over Niger. The release of this serves only as fodder for FoxNews and GOPwinger radio heads--has nothing to do with truth!
