Am Sp, True, some jobs will go to robots and some will go overseas.

It is possible that we will have to realize that manufacturing will go the way of farming, with only 5% of workers involved in it.
Automation has reduced the need for workers all over the world. 100 years ago 80% of Americans worked on farms. Then came tractors and other methods of automation, now 5% are on farms.

Will manufacturing go the same way? It may well, and we will then need to extend studies for students and add more service tasks. We are living longer too, so it is a double whammy as many people do not want to retire at 65..

So this could all be part of an evolution to a post industrial society.

Make a path to permanent employment as a student = researcher. That can take up the slack pretty well.
