If you examine the membership and writings of the Project for a New American Century, you'll quickly realize that there are actually three pillars upon which the naked aggression against Iraq rests. And one of them is certainly not the notion of revenge for Papa. That was just a PR ploy. The three pillars of U.S. policy are 1) unbridled support for Ariel Sharon's regional land grab ambitions*, 2) The Pax Americana, aka The Evil Empire and 3) Iraq being the first major resource rich nation to fall to the rapacious empire which must necessarily continue to move ahead, just like an aggressive carnivorous shark, in order to sustain itself. The oil fuels the war machine.
