WUPPERTAL, Germany, Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Delphi Corp. The Transit continues to be the best-selling medium commercial vehicle in Europe, and Delphi is proud to be able to support Ford's activity on this program.

"Winning Ford's Transit business is helping to establish Delphi as a supplier to Ford," said Stefaan Vandevelde, director of European Operations for Delphi Packard Electric. "Delphi is very pleased to have earned Ford's trust. Already earning the Transit successor business just as we ramp up the supply of electrical systems for the current model tells us we have been able to hit the mark for Ford's quality and reliability standards, as well as with our design capabilities, ensuring that the successor is even better than the current model."

In line with Ford providing customers with a high-quality vehicle that is reliable and cost competitive, Delphi Packard Electric will assist the automaker in designing a customized electrical system that incorporates the appropriate technologies to ensure the system is optimized to the vehicle's entire electrical/electronic requirements.
