I'm sure I could equal you on the lower back. I have fractures...and very little for disks. On a recent trip to Scottsdale I had to stop into the Mayo for a day and get the morphine treatment when a tennis game shifted things around a bit. I cannot compete with you on the headache thing! Indeed, after hearing your ordeal, it strikes me as definite that is is sometimes better to come in last! Seriously, it sounds like Hell, E. I'm happy for you that you came through it all sane and sound. I might have gone mad... Yes, a "compaints thread" could be done, I guess! If there is one thing we have no shortage of on SI, it is chronic whiners and emotional weaklings. They deserve a place to air their considerable outrage and to display their wounds for public consumption! (EDIT)--of course, I exempt legitimate grievance from this comment. Ouch! My toe! Must be a touch of the old gout!
