Actually I am the one who has trained as a psychiatrist.
Many many books and courses on it but not a shrink myself.

So when Lazarus admitted his Democrat father beat him as a child it explained why he irrationally hates Democrats. Same with Prolife who admits he was almost aborted as a feotus so he's devoted his lfie to hating liberals and fighting against womens rights.

Combine this with Rush's addictions, Bennet's gambling, Coulter and Rice probable muff-divers, Drudge gay, Limbaugh maybe gay, etc., and you begin to understand the madness of the far right. They actually hate a part of themselves because they are deeply ashamed.
