Good analogy :-) We abandoned Vietnam, but not Korea. Vietnam is peaceful and benign, Korea is a nuclear powered military dictatorship. The contrast is so obvious, yet the U.S. media refuse to mention it.

I remember a year ago Bob Kerrey (war criminal) saying we should invade Iraq to save money, because our containment of Iraq was so expensive. I haven't heard from him lately. -g-
