Extremely wealthy individuals like Teresa Heinz have estate lawyers who are experts at legally producing whatever results their clients expect. It's naive to believe her wealth does not play a role in his ability to run this campaign. Kerry/Heinz have been gearing up for this campaign probably since before their marriage. They're both political animals. He saw in her the financial ability to finally fulfill his life-time dream of becoming Pres & she sees in him the possibility of fulfilling her long-supported environmental protection goals, plus that of being the nation's most visible social diva. She's been playing the latter role on a smaller stage for many decades in WashDC.
