re: The difference is that Soros is getting around the campaign finance laws, i.e. blazing the trail for the new "soft money" contributions. This after he was one of the most vocal proponents for banning soft money in CFR 2002.

So, he's a bit of a hypocrite. I think his only goal is to get rid of Bush, many of us feel the same. I don't think it's self-serving, as many contributions are; at least I think it's based in political principle.

This election could get real ugly... I don't ever remember people so divided and fanatic... on both sides. I think it's going to be a spectacle, and not in the good sense.
