First.....human rights was never uttered as a reason for the invasion before the invasion.....Bush constantly intermixed 911 and Saddams name and WMD. I don't care whether you call it shrill or not, but Bush, on a daily basis, railed about WMD and 911 and always placed Saddam's name in the same context... He continues to do it to this day (Meet the Press) despite admitting that there is no connection. There has been no connection to Al-Quaida established and Bush has admitted that also but still drops the hints that there is....Cheney certainly does.

Convoys to Syria? Possibly and probably....they did trade, did they not? But WMD...mere speculation to hide our embarrassment. You know, of course, we have Spec Ops guys inside Syria...no smoking gun has ever been reported else Bush would be jumping up and down.

And let's quit the semantic game as to whether Bush used the word imminent....a gathering threat and only needing 45 minutes to deploy is imminent in anyone's book... The parsing is just another ass covering scheme....

And I strongly disagree....we did not have enough evidence to invade Iraq.....they were never tied to aggressive action against us and had no connection to 911... They were simply an easy target with oil, and with a leader who tried to get Jr's daddy...... And the mission is a failure in view of the current situation.....
