Why are you not complaining about Bush and Reagan but instead Germany?

Simple. Up until after the 91 Gulf war, Iraq wasn't on sanctions, imposed by the UN. In fact, the west supported Saddam because he kept Iran in check, and Iran was the bigger problem, especially after Carter's failures, to contains Khomenis ambitions. However after the war, it was discovered that Iraq had far more WMD than anyone imagined, and Saddam ambitions became bigger than anyone imagined, and Saddam became too ruthless for even the US to stomach. However Germany, although Germany voted for sanctions, decided its profit was more important than the UN sanctions. What else could it be? Germany had a pubilic stance of being against war at any costs, yet here is Germany, with 1/4 the population, 1/5 the US. GDP, and 1/10 the size of our defense dept. having 2-3 times the no. of companies selling WMD. It wasn't just a couple of rogue agents as you claim, it was an whole industry, producing items Germany proclaimed off limits. I have explained the US strategy at that time. Why not tell me what Germany;s strategy is.

What are you talking about? I have gone back through all your posts......I don't see where you posted that Germany violated UN sanctions. Furthermore, I do not understand how Germany or German companies could have been selling WMD to Iraq after 1991 when all the WMD were destroyed after 1991.

They are largely responsible for the mess?

Sure. Germany clearly sold the most WMD before 1991, and was one of the few, and also the largest suppliers after 1991 to Iraq, and now we see Germany, leading the charge to arm Libya and other third world nations through Khans n uclear supermart. Why wouldn't Germany be responsible for their share?

Germany was the largest seller of WMD to Iraq? How could that be? First, the UN sanctions don't allow it. Secondly, Iraq has no WMD. Please stop and think about what you are saying..........it makes no sense.
