is there a better test of electability than an election?

That's a very interesting question, especially when you consider the influence of the corporatist media in this country. For example, Dean is apparently saying some very damaging things about Kerry these days, but it's very hard to find. It's not being printed, or broadcast. But then Dean said he was in favor of breaking up large media conglomerates. Once Kerry is the nominee, and Bush says the same things that Dean is now saying, do you believe the media will be as reticent? Don't get me wrong. I have serious doubts about Dean as a candidate. But this "he's the most electable" line, should be looked at very carefully.
