These are paraphrased, but his aids have said something to the effect that he was new to politics then and has a better understanding now.

Short of Saddam getting back in power and the U.S. going into a depression worse than the one that started in 1929 I think he is toast. Especially with this AWOL and deserter bull crap the dems are embracing.
