It is really none of my concern but are you really asking for some guidance on divorce as it applies to you personally?

Sydney, even if scripture concerning divorce could liberally be interpreted as sin....or if God does look upon it as sin Just keep in mind and never forget that God knows the heart, and there is no sin that God will not forgive but one.....and divorce is not the one.

Sidney there is so much more to what Jesus spoke of concerning divorce especially as it relates to adultry. It is two fold. Divorce in and of itself is not the sin...But In any case Sydney... God is not blind. He knows the hearts of all of us. He knows and understands that we are weak and we sin.....but with sincere repentance straight from the heart.... He forgives our sins.... All of them....but one........He really is a loving, compassionate and forgiving God.

There is so much more Sydney and you know most of it too.
This is not the forum to discuss it fully.

I don't know your circumstances and you don't have to tell me, but I would just suggest that if you haven't given it a lot of thought and done a lot of soul searching and praying yet.....then please take some time to do it....and when you think you are done....do some more.

You are a praying man Sydney, so call upon God and ask him for His guidance. He will not let you down. Maybe you and your wife can both call upon God together.

Divorce can be as painful as the death of a close relative.

I do hope that you and your wife will call upon God in this very trying time. I also hope and pray that you both find comfort in knowing that God really is a forgiving God but more than that he is a loving and compassionate Father. He alone knows your heart.

Praying that you trust in God to help and guide you.
Shalom...><>
