""Maurice, I don't think you realize the political consequences of asking people about their political attitudes. Some kinds of talk are forbidden and therefore dangerous.""

One would not appreciate Mao's political attitudes if one had gone through "Culture Revolution" times. On the same token, I had wasted two years of my youth lives stationed in an island outside a major China port. For what reason? To defend if those disgusting Communist leaders (Mao included) decided to attack the island to claim China's integrity. I blamed leaders on both side of the strait claiming they represented Chinese.

I certainly would not appreciate anyone from China expressed his or her arrogant attitudes toward others again like Mao or Chiang and their subsequent leaders claiming that person represents Chinese or Taiwanese. That is just outright disgusting!!!
