Greenspan in one of his many capital hill appearances stated that there was little constituency for spending cuts.... it is a universal problem that will not be solved by partisan bickering or feigned indignity to suit a particular political viewpoint at a time of convenience in an election cycle.

Baseline budgets are and have been a disgrace and shows very little inclination for real fiscal management....Cut government across the board ....do it now and continue it whenever your favorite mope is in power.
