Greenspan talks about conceptual jobs. According to him, this is the way of the future. I guess it is something only Americans can do. Actual jobs, such as manufacturing and other mundane activities are apparently not important. He has been enamored with high tech for a long time, even before the NASDAQ bubble, and seems to be betting the farm that high tech and conceptual jobs will take up the slack of exported real jobs.

His defense of the bubbles is understandable because they are a result of his low interest rate at all cost policy. Either I am out to lunch (clueless <g>) or Greenspan is a visionary. But one thing for sure, he has attained God like stature in America and the world, and may well be the most powerful person on the planet. The reverence, scraping and bowing afforded to him is a sight to see. His influence can scarcely be underestimated.

I am conceptualizing right now....when will I be paid?
