I happen to like Edwards. When he first got in the race I didn't give him the time of day. And during the first debates, I didn't get much from him. But after watching several of his speeches, I've become convinced he can win. And not only could he win, but I think of all the front-tier candidates, except Dean, he'd be the one most likely to effect substantive change once in the White House.

I'm currently of the opinion that an Edwards-Clark easily wins the election for the Democrats, completely scapping the long-held GOPwinger Southern Strategy for a long time to come. Clinton was a moderate from the South; I think what's needed in order to change the tempo is a progressive from the South and one with strong appeal to working Americans.

The pro-Kerry thinking of winning the same states Gore got, but picking up a mid-western state that Gore didn't get, frankly, scares me. I want Bush trounced and I think Edwards-Clark is the best ticket to do just that. There'd be strong appeal throughout the South and the ticket would win several of those states. It'd also win the traditional Dem states in the North, the Rust Bucket and the West.

The Edwards-Clark ticket means: BBB (Bye-bye Bush)!!!!!!!!!!
