Hussein had proven over and over again that he was not trustworthy in this process. That, plus the human rights issues, plus the bigger picture of mid-east security, plus the fact we needed to act now or not at all for logistical reasons lead to his demise. That's why we had weapon inspectors in Iraq.......to keep him honest. And it was working! The WMD has always been just one part of a multi-part reasoning. You continue to focus on that because you think it's the best political hay. No. Its what ultimately convinced the majority of Americans who were opposed to war that the war was necessary........even without UN approval. We are playing by your rules. ted
