First of all, we didn't find hordes of gas masks..... to protect yourself form chem weapons, you need chem suits also. We only found a couple of thousand at most. None of the Iraqi army units had them.

Of course, but they knew that before the invasion and so did Saddam, so what the hell were we afraid of that merited in the first place. Any use of WMD could have traced back to its source. How long did it take us to find out where the 911 terrorists came from and who they were. That evidence was totally destroyed.
