In fact, one of the best ways to stay out of debt is to not get suckered into loaning or giving your hard-earned money to someone who is dishonest and irresponsible with money. Well, the federal government is like a deranged relative who I won't get suckered into helping. They need to go through Chapter 11 and clean up their act. Their debt is not my debt. I am better off if they go bankrupt. I am worse off if I "help" them, and it won't do any good for them in the long-run anyway. Now, please explain to me what I "don't understand" about debt?
