Thanks for the link -- I didn't have the chance to see it when it was broadcast.

My first impression of Tony Clement is favourable. My big concern with him is the fact that federal politics is a different animal from provincial politics. If the election is held on May 10th, there's no way he's ready to go in as leader, when he's never even run for a federal seat. But I'd consider supporting him in the next leadership race, provided he wins a seat this year. He needs seasoning, IMO.

I would say his answer on the bilingualism question was poor, for reasons I won't elaborate on here since I wrote a fairly lengthy thing on it upthread.

Some of the questions were extremely good, and it would have been very interesting to see how Belinda dealt with them.
