Tenet and Clinton were not on good terms and that's putting it mildly. Kay, in his interim report, was so obviously spouting the Bush line, I couldn't believe when he got some integrity and testified the way he did recently. You'll note he didn't trash Bush, however. He main theme was, there are and probably never were any WMD.

I have serious doubts that the French have had any change of heart toward Bush....ditto for the rest of the world. Bush hasn't done anything to change those feelings yet. It's going to take decades to repair the damage he's done.

Regime change may have been a topic in 98, but not by pre-emptive invasion....
