Ann, these terrorists are intellectuals. Osama is a degreed engineer. Al Zawahary is a medical doctor. Many of those terrorists of 9/11 were degreed people from German universities, very Internet savvy. To combat such people you need good intelligence organizations who are in a position to keep a step ahead of them. They are smart folks and brute military force does not work against them. A proof is the frequent cancellation of BA flights. Why are they cancelling flights so frequently and still coming up empty handed.

So there is something very wrong with the approach that Cheney and Rumsfeld are adopting. They are CEOs from the old economy. They are not Rhodes or Fulbright scholars who generally have the ability to move with the times. Surely there is a big generation gap between then and Deaniacs like yourself.

I find it strange that you find them in tune with your thoughts and philosophies.
