Hello All:

I finally caved in and bought a Celeron 2.7 GHz (HP a400n) with XP-H PC.
Ran performance tests from NSW and PCPitstop. They both came approximately 7 times better than my Win 98 Celeron 466 MHz white box.

I have set IE in my startup group. It works well in my 98 setup. I turn the PC on and go do other stuff. By the time I am back, the PC is already at my Yahoo page.
In my new PC, the IE does not dial my ISP and hence it is stuck. Says no connection. I have checked in IE Connection tab "always dial default connection" and K-Online is set for default. I have to click on K-Online to dial and then it is back to normal.

Does anyone have an idea why IE in the new machine will not dial to the ISP?

I play bridge on MSN Zone and I think it requires IE that is why I do not want to switch my browser.

Thanks.

Satish
