Ray - try to drive your car about twice a month, leting the engine warm up all the way to normal - about 20 minutes.

This will use less than 2 gallons a month, but keep the battery charged, the pistons free and lubricated, and evaporate water condensation in the crankcase. Also keep the tires and other rubber stuff from developing a "set".

Takign it out for an "Italian tune-up" a bit of high speed driving to get the plugs hot enough to burn off carbon - is also a good thing to do occasionally.
