OT: Lets try ADIC as an example of the three day rule but attempt to extend a little extra fundamental and technical analysis.

First why did the stock fall?

From Briefing.com: ADIC cut Buy from Strong Buy at Delafield Hambrecht 13.39 -3.78: Delafield Hambrecht downgrading Advanced Digital (ADIC) to Buy from Strong Buy due to price appreciation since firm's previous upgrade and also due to firm's perception of a delay in the expected ramp in gross margins.

Advanced Digital reports in-line EPS, revs light (ADIC) 17.17 -0.24: Reports Q1 (Jan) earnings of $0.08 per share, in line with the Reuters Research consensus of $0.08; revenues rose 21.8% year/year to $118.3 mln vs the $121.4 mln consensus.

Me: Technically the stock now is oversold closing at 13.22 with a RSI of 29. But if we look at a previous six month low it is 12.15 with an MACD reading well below -50 along with the closing stochastics ADIC is not as oversold as it could become before bouncing. Judging from the high volume today I think ADIC could trade even lower than 12.15 before bouncing back to gain as much as 10% from that low in a single session.
