I'm very glad you changed your mind about Dobbs! I never watched him before, and somebody turned me on to him a month or so ago. I am very impressed with his coverage! Even if you don't believe him, or his guests, its about time we got some debate on some of these matters. He said tonight he has tried to get info from various firms and that they are embarrassed to disclose their plans! If we can't get disclosure from corps what does that leave us with? I did some research and apparently Dobbs took an interlude to start a space.com website. I think he got his feet wet in technology and probably learned about the offshoring of the high skilled tech workforce through these contacts, that is my guess. If you subscribe to the theory that an advanced engineering workforce is an investment vs just a cost (as I do) then offshoring is pretty disturbing. Half the reason microsoft and intel became huge companies is because nobody knew how to produce technology in the 80s/90s. Now we are just exporting the IP for a one time balance sheet gain.
