HALLIBURTON: WAR PROFITEERS

Back in the days of Harry Truman, we used to prosecute war profiteers. Now we a President who wrote a special law making sure that criminals can't be excluded from bidding for government work. How sad to see how low we've sunk.

I watch a fair bit of the Iraq Overcharges hearing with the Senate Democratic Policy Committee. It was excellent. Exactly what a Senate hearing should be all about. Except for the conspicuous lack of any Republicans. Where were they? Scheming another swindle?
