The attacks on Abizaid and the Falluja police are very disconcerting. To my untrained eyes it seems the insurgents have penetrated Iraqi and American security, and have largely neutralized American air superiority by making it too risky for American gunships to effectively fly combat missions. I simply cannot see how Bush can continue the disengagement and Iraqization without everybody realizing what this is: cutting and running.
