I live in Texas too, so I know that the older crowd here goes to bed anywhere from 8:30 to 10:00 pm. I have relatives on the east coast and they stay up later. (Even the TV shows come on later).

It is the advice of all the How to find Work columns to personally hand your resume, if possible, to the person who makes he decision about hiring. Apparently this woman only knew enough about Kerry's schedule to wait for him to get back home. Apparently there were plenty of reporters to talk to while she waited.
