The question I'd have about India is: 1. is a city the size of Philadelphia going up each month 2. as the countryside gets emptied out 3. as folks go work in city factories (as opposed to being warehoused in shanty towns (different impact on global resources).

I don't really know the answer, but sort of suspect India is having a different effect on the resource chain?
