That's what galls me the most. The closest thing to war these smucks have come is playing with their GI Joes.
Leaders of old lead their troops into battle. Not these guys......they play with segways at their summer home while their troops die in the heat of Iraq.

Hyprocrisy. Hell, Bush has more military service than your boy Clinton (being in a fighter jet at home was sure a lot closer to battle than running out of the country).

Brian, read what the Nat. Guard was like back then.......they were considered "weekend warriors". It was a way for people to get out of going to the Vietnam War. Remember this was the time of the draft. And the Air National Guard was the cream of the crop and very hard to get in.......unless, of course, your father was prominent politically. And just for the record, Bush scored very poorly on the flight aptitude portion of the entrance exam or application. He got in just like he got into Yale!

This point is a non-issue. Why do you continue to make it?

Because, as recently witnessed with the Iraqi War, our leaders take war way too lightly. If their asses were literally on the line, they would not be so quick to fire the first shot.
