Pro free trade advocates have an excuse for everything that doesn't go as they believe it should. Deregulation and privatization was NOT a solution for them. At least it didn't act like one. It didn't work.

Now that may be an oversimplification to you, because you are looking for excuses to believe what you want to believe, in spite of evidence to the contrary.

I know there are all kinds of reasons why it didn't work in Argentina. The bottom line is it didn't. That pokes a few holes in your theory that privatization/deregulation is the solution to all ills. You fail to see how your thinking is a belief system. You just deny it is so. You may have your belief. Just don't expect everyone else to accept it blindly without regard to evidence to the contrary.
