First they all but forced them to expand, especially if they had federal loans, then whacked em off at the knees.

Let's see back then we had a feed mill, 3 implement dealers, a Ford dealer and a Chevy dealer, hardware store and appliance store. We now have a Chevrolet dealership and an express mart at the old mill station. Big vacant lot across the road where they tore down the mill this past spring.

Gotta love progress.

Oh and your hard pressed to find a dairy cow in my area. Every pasture had cows in them 25 years ago. Not a one to be found now other then one mega farm who I understand is in the process of filing bankruptcy.
