Brian,

There is another thing I've been meaning to say. Nearly a year ago, when John Edwards name was raised as a possible presidential candidate, you were one of the first to slam him. You suggested he was fairly well disliked in NC and that he was an ambulance chasing attorney........probably the most disparaging remark one can make about an attorney.

At the time, I didn't know Edwards from a hole in the ground so I couldn't say much. However, its one year later and I know a lot more about the man than I did then. And frankly, I think you're comments were way chickensh*t!

But that seems to come with the territory. My brother in law is a Republican but he registered in the NH Democratic primary so he could vote for Dean. Why? Because he believed that Dean was the most beatable of the Dem. candidates. Chickensh*t? I could hear the clucking all the way from NH.

In the meantime, my sister voted for Edwards in the primary. Two months ago she explained to me why she thought he was a classy guy. I was surprised at some of his accomplishments and his overall decency. I wished I thought he could beat Bush because he is definitely the kind of guy I would want as president. Having said that, Kerry is a solid second choice!
