Ranting Profs - OH. SO IT'S JUST A CUTE LOCAL CUSTOM Is it me, or is there a bit of a tone to the New York Times coverage of Mexican fans chanting "Osama, Osama" against the US soccer team that, what, tells us to just understand their point of view? tells us we just need to "get" soccer fans? Forgive but I'm not getting any outrage here. And, you know, I'd like a little outrage, even if we did have the nerve to actually invade Iraq (shame on us.) Those fans were still chanting the name of a mass murderer. At a sporting event.
