The Bush's didn't/don't live in or go to church in River Oaks.

You don't have to take my word for it - the episcopal church the Bush family was/is associated with in Houston is this one:
They are members of St. Martin's Episcopal Church, where President Bush was a former vestryman. He is currently on the board of the Episcopal Church Foundation and serves on the vestry of St. Ann's Episcopal Church in Kennebunkport, Maine.

That's not in River Oaks. BTW there are 2 Episcopal and 1 Methodist churches in or close to River Oaks, which is inside the loop. I'm guessing this is what you claim as your home area.

Outside the loop, in the Memorial/Villages area, there 3 Episcopal (one of them St Martins on Sage) and 3 UMC churches.
