CMCSA - Ron, I am reconsidering my position in CMCSA and DIS. I own both. I think CMCSA is dead money for a while, maybe years. Of course, there will be trading opportunities. CMCSA willhave to raise its bid for DIS, and the concerns about integration, with focus on AOL/TWX disaster, will cause money flow out of the stock for now. Roberts and Co., are probable better managers than Case and Levin, but the merger of behomeths in the media world does not have a good history of positive returns. DIS, on the other hand, is in play, and will likely trade to low-mid 30's as improved bid and possible competitors bid come in. IACI and Barry Diller is the only likely candidate that i see. GE and VIA already own a broadcast network, and no way will a company be allowed to own 2. (of course, they could agree to seel ABC, but...) ESPN and Disney parks and brand name are the jewels. Malone and Liberty Media have mentioned, but that is not the kind of deal Malone is likely to do. Other than IACI and CMCSA, i don't see any potential buyers on the scene. the mention of MSFT is absurd, imo. larry
