Whatever happened to "9-11 changed everything"?

It did. No more "Clinton" style policy.

I must have missed that litany.

It is in what is said and what is left out. The Dems are all about "Confer with our Allies," "Go after Bin Laden," "Make friends of the Arabs again." These are all Euphemisms for "do little or nothing." "Don't make waves." They want to "criminalize" the whole thing and pretend that we are not in a major conflict.

They are not all about, "We are at war," "It is going to take a generation," "Countries that support terrorists must change." They don't want to challenge the underlying causes of the problem. Remember, all the people who invented and believe in PC, Multiculturalism, etc, are on the left. They hope they can ignore the problem and it will go away. Their core beliefs lead them to take positions that I regard as spineless.

I am generalizing that Kerry's history since he got back from Vietnam is to be against the use of force. Ever since the Viet Nam watershed of '72 the Democratic candidate has had to be one who agreed with this end of the party. That got us the Foreign Policy disaster of Carter and Clinton. Kerry would give us more of the same.

The world is too dangerous today for us to afford a Democratic President. Maybe 20 years from now, when this problem is solved.
