Every time MSFT has deviated from software, they have lost money: MSN, X-Box, investment in internet, media and telecom companies. It would be a total disaster for them to buy DIS.
Now, an idea that i had was a joint tender for DIS by TWX and IACI. TWX would love to have the cable and Disney theme park assets. IACI (Barry Diller) has been itching to own a network forever. Almost got it at Paramount. IACI gets ABC and ESPN, TWX gets disney parks, movies, library. Or IACI gets disney parks. OR, GE buys TWX, IACI, DIS and CMCSA, partnering with MSFT. ggg larry
