Dean would have lost 45 states in a total landslide which would have made the Dems a complete minority party. Dean did some amazing things, but he also made some amazing gaffes and errors. We cannot afford a candidate who risks defeat every time he opens his mouth. We need a pro.

Dean took 1.6 million from one union, a big special interest. He got speaking fees from insurers he helped and gave tax breaks to Enron. He let his campaign chief make off with 5.2 million of that grass roots money of his. He has no business attacking Kerry on ethics.

Dean also waged a negative campaign in Iowa attempting to attack the entire DEmocratic establishment a la Ralph Nader. meanwhile DEan has no foreign and military experience in a time of war. He sells himself as a populist outsider but is a Yalie just like Bush and Kerry and has been a career politician for a long time.

After Tuesday Dean should find a way to endorse Kerry and bow out gracefully.
