"You don't use your real name; what are you trying to hide?????"

Mostly my e-mail address. I wish to protect my privacy which is a value I regard very highly. But were I to put myself in the public domain on a private web site, and were I to assert a scholarly competence, then I would naturally do so openly and as a master of my field.

"I don't see any refutation to the substance of the article I posted, only ad hominem attacks as usual."

Anyone reading the scores of articles I posted with commentary on Turkel could not fail to appreciate the scholarly disdain in which Turkel's childish, biased, and unsubstantiated opinions are held by his betters. As to the particular article which YOU posted: Please do me the courtesy of pointing out what points he is making which you feel have yet to be refuted? Has he proven that Christianity is a "better" myth than Mithra? Has he explained how all the PROVEN linkages between Zoroaster, Mithra, Krishna, Buddha, Christianity, etc. may be ignored, or may be used to justify the fealty toward any one or another of these myths?
