The fact of the matter is that when Mulroney was PM he was the best choice at the time.....sure doesn't say a lot for the alternatives does. Seems that in this country we don't vote for the best man, we vote for the one that we hope isn't the worst. Mulroney was an arrogant bastard, but he was in no way as corrupt as your average everyday ottawa liberal.
