Ted Re...Brian, read what the Nat. Guard was like back then.......they were considered "weekend warriors". LOL I am sure the dems will make greats strides, being recognized as the party of togetherness, with that observation. It was a way for people to get out of going to the Vietnam War. Remember this was the time of the draft Maybe it was for you and your ilk, but it is condescending to say everyone joined the Natl. Guard for that reason. Bush scored very poorly on the flight aptitude portion of the entrance exam or application. More bald faced lies. GW got a rating of excellent, on his Natl. Guard reports. If their asses were literally on the line, they would not be so quick to fire the first shot. And if your a## would have been sitting in the twin towers on 9/11, we wouldn't have had to listen to this drivel either. What is your point. That only self proclaimed war criminals like Kerry, not the president, should decide if we should go to war.
